The pixel dimensions listed below are not “the” only size these ratios can be.
After saving/exporting your Canva design using these size dimensions, you may want to optimize the image with something like OptimizeMyPics to get it under 250kb before uploading into Squarespace, or your website may load more slowly (because of larger image file sizes).

Some spots in Squarespace (like product images, blog featured images, and other pre-structured areas) don't give you an "auto" option that adapts the image container to the size of each individual image.
Instead, for design consistency, they offer you a choice of cropping all similar image containers to a fixed ratio whether you like it or not. And if you're using Image Blocks set to "Fit" across a section, they'll only resize in sync if all your images start at the same dimensions when you upload them to Squarespace.
So if your photos came from different sources (cameras, phones, or screenshots, etc.), this Canva template allows you to export multiple images at the same dimensions before they ever touch Squarespace.
